Westside Lofts Prices

westside_lofts_thumbnail.gifJudging by the Google traffic I get, there are lots of people out there who are interested in the specific prices of lofts in Toronto. I’m not just talking about a vaguely attractive, but useless, ‘from the mid 200s’ type of prices either, I mean real dollars and cents costs. So here they are, the prices for the Westside lofts as published today:

Great info! Thanks so much doing the leg work. Do you know if the prices for the West Side Lofts have dropped since the summer? Also, any idea how close they are to selling out?
    Cheers!

    Hi Jill
I’m not sure if there have been any price drops at Westside since the Summer, I haven’t seen a pricelist very recently. I think I may have seen a 60% sold out sticker somewhere (though I could be mistaken), but that just seems to be the standard claim.

Glad you find the info useful

    Hi Patrick,

I purchased a unit back in October and they were over 60% sold at that point. Interesting to know what the new figure is.

    Hi Patrick,

Do you have any updates on this?

  5. Patrick Dinnen Says:

No updates I’m afraid, these are the latest details I have.

I bought a loft in Westside last year in the first few weeks. Loved the plans for the building and love my little unit which I purchased with a terrace. Now the building has changed names and reached an agreement with Active 18 and the city and will provide work/live lofts for artists which is great. But now the plans for the actual units have changed and what once seemed like a cool building is now becoming a bit average… 10 ft ceilings down to 9… and plans that suck compared to what was being offered and what I actually bought… Anyone else been through this… I still haven’t confirmed with these new changes.

In response to Richard LeBlanc, we also purchased a unit in 2006. And with the current changes, we are disappointed and debating whether to keep the unit. The changes and uncertainty of the commitment of the quality and schedule of the builder make us wonder if it is worth keeping. No one at the sales office is giving us “real” information either…when and if construction will really start. Any input?
