Some random details about Toronto’s Westside Lofts
I know, I know this is is the fourth post about Westside lofts today. I’m not paid a comission by these people or anything (though considering I’m more informative that their official website perhaps I ought to be). It’s just that I’m personally intersted in the building so I naturally write about it.
Random details from my visit to the Westside sales centre today:
- Ceilings are 8 feet on the floors 2-4, then a more lofty 10 feet on floors 5-12 and the 1st floor.
- Walls, ceilings and floors are all smooth concrete, except in bathroom areas where floors and walls are tiled.
- They’ll throw in painted drywall for the walls if you prefer.
- There’s currently an offer for free laminate flooring or fancy Italian cabinets for the kitchen or cashback (a percent-ish, I think). Don’t delay, sign up today!
- Estimated completion date of the building is November 2008.
- Prices increase by $1,500 per floor. Here’s the complete pricelist for the Westside lofts by the way.
- Parking spaces are available for $19k, or $14 if you drive a hybrid car. I know it’s just PR, but it worked on me.
- Maintenance fees are $0.37/foot/month, which works out to around $250/month on a mid-sized 700 sq. foot loft.
