Treehugger.com, a blog with an eco-slant, wrote a glowing post (if rather eco-information light) on the West Side Lofts planned for Queen West.

Here’s good news for any TreeHuggers in Toronto considering some new digs: West Side Lofts are being built this year, and they’ll be LEED-certified when they’re up.

LEED stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design and you can read more about it here. I’m interested to find out more about what exactly a LEED certification means in the context of a loft building, so stay tuned for more on that.
